got my lazy ass up and painted my damn headlights. getting the DG stuff kinda forced me to do it.

the only problem is during the process my lights got redirected. now they point at the ground and i cant see s*** at night. i have to fix this now.....

Well, you should be able to see the ground...that's SOMETHING.....

i can see the ground, but only up to about 15 feet in front of me. it sucked driving home last night

for me so far so good...Iowa officers are very nice
but in chicago? they will give you crap for sure...

looks good jose.....................i have yet to get crap for my no front plate....i even got pulled over last week if we all remember 2 tickets ..music and turns....the cop looked at the front of my car and didnt say nothin and that was palos hill's so ....no crap for it from me yet

I need to Dremel off one of the bolts however....I "filled" one hole with a cap but the other stil has the bolt from the plate in it (don't ask how I got the plate frame off )..

that doesnt sound like its going to be to much fun, I' would be worried about chewing up the paint on the front of the bumper

Nah, I have the plan Stan...er, Aric....no worries on the paint getting chewed..I just need an extra hand to help and that should be it...

Nrrfrogman: i got pulled over on the way home from school and i turned into the jewel on 131st and Lagrange. a female cop gets out and tells me, "your back license plate is hard to see" i told her that i have washed my car in a week and that its dirty. she says, "you know tinted plate covers are illegal in illinois" then i ask her, why do they sell them then? after drilling me on how illegal they are and telling me that i was already warned for having it, she walks to the front of my car to see if the front one was tinted. too bad there was no front license plate. she says, "huh, no front plate. you know that not legal either, right?" i made up a BS story about how someone backed into me and crack the factory holder and that i had to order one from madza and it didn't come in yet. either way, i get 2 warning and a threat to make sure it's on within 24 hours or i'm getting a ticket. Count to date: 4 warnings, 1 Ticket (speeding)

i always wonder how they expect people to obey warnings and notices to comply within 24 hours. are they going to come to your house within that time and make sure that you fixed it? i got a warning for having blue blinkers on all of my turn signals. the only reason i took them off is because i got the warning from the cop that did security duties at the apartment complex i used to live at. he would have known if i didnt comply.
