Final word on Mazda3 tire wear?

I have a 2005 Mazda3 Hatch. A/S tires on it when I bought it at 67k. 87k now and the inside edges are totally shot. they are worn down much more than the rest of the tire, and there's some cupping/scalloping. at slow speeds i can hear a wooop woooop wooop as the tires rotate. tons of road noise at high speeds. the tires on the front are the worst, but the wear may have started when they were on the back.

I've read all the posts and everyone has problems and the suggestions range from bolt-on suspension kits, alignments, wheel balancing.... Has anyone come up with a final word on what to do?

I have snows that I want to get on the car, but don't want to ruin another set up tires.

I asked about the same thing, the only answer I was told, it is because our cars have a weird camber... Out makes them ware down easy on the inside edge. They told me to rotate my tires every time I change the oil and it won't be as bad...

Are your sturts bad? Alignment off? What to do is to check your alignment and your suspension parts to see if they are good. Other then that you are kinda SOL. Thats all I can say. And rotate like infamouszoltan said too.

Having your tires under inflated could result in your tires cupping. Also if your suspension is shot or your tires are not balanced properly could also result in inside outside thread wear difference. But the number one thread killer is under inflation.
