Feel good story

True story...I just took my Midnight Blue P5 with the Black Katzkins leather seats to Bubbles hand car wash in Houston. Car in front of me was a Mercedes, car behind me was a Brand new Volvo wagon and there were all sorts of various upscale cars around the lot.

They were pretty busy and one of the managers was helping out drying off cars. He was drying my car and he was standing there looking at it. Finally they were finished and called me over and he smiled a big grin, shook his head and said "Man, that's one of the prettiest little cars I've seen in a long time...(and with disbelief in his voice added) and it's a Mazda Protege???"


Made my whole day...possibly my week!!

Thats a really good point Sir Nuke...awesome story...its such a great looking car...who designed the p5 and mp3 look...does Mazda have one of those "California" design studios?

Yup, I've had the exact same thing happen at a carwash and it just feels so good when people who see beautiful cars all day long compliment your ride.
