failing thermostat?

Or am I being paranoid... Lately I have noticed that after about driving 10 minutes with the A/C on, the temperature gauge goes up about 2 clicks above normal when I come to a complete stop. As soon as I start moving again, it will go back to normal.

I am wondering if anyone else notices that with their MS3. I don't remember the needle going up at all last summer and my coolant level is normal.

I have a auterra dynoscan and it shows coolant temp of 190 at the most. it never gets above that, no matter what. Even idling in 100 degree temps with a/c running.

UPDATE:

After bringing the car in to have things checked out, turns out the thermostat was stuck causing the car to over-heat. Had it replaced under warranty and now things are back to normal.

And thanks for your input Super Unique. I knew something was wrong once the needle went above half way.

I've had mine climb into the low 210's when beating on it (autox-esq), but it is definitely designed to sit at 190.

I recently purchased a Dashhawk and I have been noticing that my temperature reaches as high as 217 f degrees when at idle.. this being the second thermostat. Should I be worried?

When cruising, the temperature sits anywhere between 187-190 f.

NOTE: In between driving and sitting idle, I don't see the temperature needle climb or fall once its fully warmed up. Could the DH be registering false numbers?
