So pretty much I am just venting my anger right now, but tonight while I was filling my car up with gas, the automatic stopping feature failed to stop and just spilled gas all over my car. Right now I am just worried about my car, and I was wandering if gas can take the paint off your car.

you should rinse it down, but it shouldn't harm the paint

hopefully you caught it in time before having to sell a kidney to pay for the extra gas.

At least it wasn't the other way around where the ******* thing clicks every two seconds. Even if you hold it manually it clicks. Then you're not sure when to stop and you end up spilling it and being so damn frusterated at the same time.

Yeah, I was standing right next to it when it happened so I caught it when it quickly. But I was freaking out when it happened, and my hands and my car still kind of smell a little bit.

Oh yeah, for any of you that live near Hyw.92, do not go to the Exxon on the corner of Tricumm, if you do don't use pump 16.

Its not Exxon's Fault..Things go bad.

Now if you go back say in a week..and it does it again..then its theri fault if you informed them it wasn't working properly.

And your paint should be fine...just rinse it off as nate said.

yeah just rinse it off you will be perfectly fine...and go to BP across the street its usually cheaper

I used to be the surgery technician at the animal hospital catacorner and down a little to that Exxon, Trickum Ridge Animal Hospital right next to the Sonic. You in that area often?
