External Wastegate and tubular manifold using stock MS6 turbo?

you could. but you would have to keep the stock waste gate closed so you dont have it opening causing very low boost.

Is there a particular way to do this properly? Also thanks for the reply, should I be running a ECu upgrade prior to making this sort of a purchase?

Most of the solutions i have herd are to simply weld the internal waste gate shut and remove the actuator.
there should be an easier way that allows you to return to stock if need be.

You can change your driving style untill you buy an ecu product.
and if you simply reset the ecu there should be no problems under light driving conditions untill you can modify to correct for the new addition. but its best to buy some form of tuner to corectly allow for modifications. running a bit lean at idle is not going to end the world, but running lean at wide open throttle will be a problem.

makes perfect sence thank you for the reply. I feel like I would be better off waiting until I get a ECu upgrade to be safe and drive normal and would get better gains in the end with one. Ill stick to simple bolt ons a bit loger and hit up an ECU flash or programmer in the future.
