So I am currently running a frankenexhaust that was a Perrin JBE. I got some test pipe and welded a couple of ebay cats on it and tried to fit it into my system (fail) to pass smog, and it worked, but now I am stuck with these horrible cats. It was something I did to save some cash and pass smog quick, so please don't hate haha.
My real question, though, is if the stock MSP dual cat system can fit in the place of the catless Perrin midpipe? I have never had the stock system on the car, let alone seen the stock system, so I have no idea if the connectors match up to the slightly askew Perrin exhaust. Any ideas?
I am going to put the straight pipe back on in a few weeks, but I want the cats so I can just throw em on whenever I need to. Thanks!
