Guys, just wanted to post some info on this, pics will be posted soon as my camera is fixed.

These are awesome!(IMHO)...I little pricey for 2 pieces of fiberglass($156 shipped), but if you're not super tight its well worth it. They fit GREAT, DONT interfere w/ the hood at all....and are easy to paint/install.
I took it to a local body shop...they charged $50 bucks..which I believe you can get a little cheaper..but I can vouch for this place and their work...
They sanded them, painted them, and glued/bonded them on perfectly. Took about a week for them to arrive, they include a huge decal for windshield, some pics of project cars, and of course the brows. They dont block the headlights at all(at 1st I thought they might cause some trouble..they do block the Hi-beam slightly..but very little) Only word of caution: they claim that you can install using 3M tape...If you dont drive over 35-40MPH this might work...but if you dont want them flying off, glue/bond them on.....

Pics will be up as soon as possible

I've considered eyelids but when you look at the car stock, it already has a dramatic slant on the headlight.

About the 3M tape:

What do you think is holding on your door side moldings and badges? ^_^

Can't wait to see pics, I've been considering these as well.

Agreed, 3M tape applied properly is very strong, however most people do not completely clean, and prep the surface. I'm awaiting pics:D

You painted those directly onto your headlamps?!

That's awesome. I LOVE how that looks.

If BlueBat could make vinyl eyebrows like that he'd have an order right away.

yeah, just masked it off and then painted, added the silver (bad) pinstripe for a little more bold edge line, glad you liked it, did it to the back light also

this is very true. But it's also the fact that these are perpendicular to the car, while the doormoldings are parallel and aero :)

it's that special person that would put the tape on like this
|........|
instead of like this
_______
that deserves his lids to blow off :)

But those blue lids look great, it takes awhile before they start to look right, but they add a flair, and the work is done well to.

DUDE!!! i read your entry 3 times.... i have no clue what you are talking about!!! please explain, are you talking about my bad pinstripe, becuase it is just put on until i figure out how to mount the hinge for suicide rear doors, then i am having a real pinstriper come in

lol...nah dude, i think your's look good.

it was just an editorial i guess, not aimed at anyone.

the lines, where to indicate how the tape would be used on a set of say fiberglass eyelids. If you where to put the tape like this | | the eyelid would turn into a wing and air would peel it right off. But if it would taped like this _______ along the front edge of the eyelid, no air could get under and peel it off...

any clearer?

well look at all the protege's and whatnot with the dgm urethane lip. . .that little flexible thing was meant to be held on with 3m tape, i would suppose it would be good enough to withstand a little eyelid

true, but thats alot more surface area and designed to be aerodynamic. but i get your point.

Badger(and others)--I'm trying to hook up the pics, but my camer isnt co-operating...I'm gonna try to use a camera phone to at least post SOMETHING...sorry for the delay....

As for the topic going on w/ the tape.....it was already said, but for what its worth, the moldings are on the side of the car...not affected too much by aerod's and wind resist.....on the front of the car, and on something as small as an eyelid(where's there's not much space to mount tap properly)...there's a chance of losing them on the road...not def., but I dont want any chance of them flying off...

Pics Posted---finalllyyyyyy!!!!!

Sorry for the delay guys...digi cam is still messed up, but my cameraphone is up and working again....any questions let me know....

PS-as you can see, these eyelids are actual fiberglass, not just a vinyl or anything like that...so they are raised and appear as part of the body...not knocking the vinyls, just my perference...Let me know what YOU guys think!
