I was told by a mazda dealer in december that Mazda was going to do a recall on the engine mount for the MS3. I know alot of people have replaced them and i've heard it helps alot.
Is there a free replacement by mazda?

No I haven't invented anything. My father and I went to the dealer to see a black MS3 and were asked if we recieved our letter about the recall yet.

No, I haven't thats why I'm curious if the ball is rolling on this. I want to replace my mount but if there is a chance of mazda doing it for free because it's their folly then i'm going to wait

there is no recall, i talked to the service advisor at my dealership today .
not to say there wont be one but there is not yet.
the awr mount makes the car shift smoother and tranfer power better, but that does not replace the mount that is breaking. it should help the issue though, by keeping the motor more still it keeps strain off of the right side mount.
