Electronic HVAC controls

I've been looking at pictures of the 3 around the internet, but I can only seem to find the Euro/Japanese pics(metric). I am trying to find out if these cars have electronic climate controls. That is, you set the temp to what you want and the car automatically matches it. The one I test drove had manual controls. Its nice, but I prefer the electronic controls. The dealer said "We don't know, we haven't got one yet".

Any help guys?

Automatic climate controls are available in Euro and JDM specs and not available in N. American-specs (not even as an option).

Oh well, that sucks. Not a problem, just wanted to check to see if it was available. I really wonder why we're not getting the automatic controls...too much like the 6 at that point?
