EGR valve failed AGAIN!!!

I already replaced this a couple of years ago!
P0401 insufficient coolant temperature
P0126 exhaust gas recirc flow

Somebody please point me to the best thread on putting in a block off plate and how to not get codes thrown with one installed (is that even possible?).

just clean it, apparently it gets dirty easy and throws a code. I got mine replaced under warrenty last time, but next time ill just clean it as im SURE it will pop a CEL with the EGR valve again in the next 10-20k miles. But hey, at least its somthing simple. every car has their quarks.

If you don't need it for emissions testing, go to google james barone racing and get the EGR delete. If you have an accessport, you can hide the code. All EGR does on this car is help build s*** up on the valves.
