I am interested in purchasing the e-brake cover for my MS3 from Redline leather goods. Can anyone tell me how it installs, the website does not offer anything on the subject.

HEY, Kain what makes it hold on. Do i just slip it over and it stays in place, thanks for the help. I have admired your car for awhile.

yeah. they stay on, but you might have to pull up the center area, and then slip it back over once you've installed the boot. Go with redline. Shipping takes forever, but the end product is so nice. I have all three boots, and I cannot express how happy I am with them.

Thanks for the info, I am going to order the cover from Redline, i have the armrest cover in red and black. The workmanship is outstanding.

If I were to go with the same black leather, red stitch as my stock shift boot, how well would it match?

Not very well. The stock boot is vinyl and clashes against the Redline leather. The contrast is obvious.

Kain's right there is a difference, so i am going to order the e-brake and the shifter boot.

If you're going Redline, might as well get the whole set and save yourself money. I started with the armrest cover thinking it was going to be enough. Before I knew it, I had the shift boot. Then I got the brake boot...

Question.. I have seen the Mazdaspeed CF ebrake handle on Ebay for a while, and cant for the life of me figure out how that thing installs.. the stock handle and boot seem to be one piece.

If it's the OEM carb fiber cover, I think it's only compatible with the base 3. I read that somewhere when I was looking at different brake handles.

I agree. This is good stuff. Once you have one of the boots you will want the other.
