Previously in the N/A Timeslip thread I posted my 1/4 mile time. Since that run I added headers and CAI. I am really not seeing any difference. Here are the numbers that I am talking about:

Before-----------------------After
60ft---2.487-----------------2.55
330ft--6.918-----------------6.891
1/8----10.557@68.83---------10.511@68.73
1000ft-13.671----------------13.642
1/4----16.274@87.14---------16.276@86.08
0-60---8.842-----------------8.682

As you can see the numbers are almost the same. I am not sure if it is just a mental thing, but the car feels like it is pulling harder since I put in the mods. Someone please shed some light on this. Thanks.

It happens. Can be a slew of complications. Temperature, tire wear, etc. It can also be your just having an off night. Try again in a couple days.

your driving is different
you had a much better launch on the first run. Do alot more runs, the more you do the better you will get, it also makes it easyer to compare mods, having an average will give you a much better idea if you have made/lost power

2.5 60ft's = need improvement...not a problem man, and you know you got some gains...you had a worse launch second time around, and a better run overall...well sort of...everything you listed is better except the 1/4 mile time, and trap speed...

just practice man...and get some better tires eventually...thats all you need...16.27 is nothing to sneeze at for a stock p5 by the way (or did that include the intake cam?)...some dudes have trouble breaking 17...but at the same time, your second run with a header should have shown some decent improvement...oh well, first run was great for the mods you had...second run was average with the mods you have...that may be why there is not much of difference...

and change the thread to "doesn't make [sense]"....since makes no [sense]...just lookin' out for you dude...

i think the thing you should focus on is the 60ft and then the half track times.

you were 0.063 seconds slower to 60ft, but 0.046 seconds quicker to half track. in theory, if the 60ft was the same for both runs, you were around 0.1 seconds quicker to half track

i would be willing to bet the time similarities coming down to gear shifts. i cant see any reason you wont get into the 15's with practice
