Does anyone knows if the Sportmax xxr 002 5 lug universal 16x8.5 fits the P5?

I like this rims alot and i was wondering if anyone had experience with them. Please let me know what you think. I have a 2003 protege5 black and i want to know if it fits.

I don't see a 8.5, but the 8" on the website I checked have zero offset and therefore will NOT fit.

depends on what you mean by "fit", and how much you are willing to change to get them to fit. it all depends on the offset, you will need at least a +40mm offset to clear the strut body at minimum. you will also need a serious fender roll and likely a good dose of negative camber as at that spec the wheel sticks out 42mm farther than the stock wheels. more offset (like a +0mm offset) will make thing trickier.

o.g.sk8er pulls off the same wheel in 16x8 +0mm offset. but the body and suspension are far from stock.
