Do I need A crossover?

I'm trying to setup a 800 watts 2ch amp for my sub
and a 600 watts 4ch amp for all four speakers....

I have a sony deck that has 3 INPUTS (front, rear, Sub)
Can I just run the 2 sets of RCA wires from the 2 amps
to the HU (rear/front and sub) or I need a crossover?

it has 3 OUTPUTS, not inputs. run the front set to the front channels on the 4 channel amp, the rear set to the rear channels on the 4 channel amp, and the sub to the sub amp. the HU may have a x-over built in, and the amps may as well, so you can adjust the cut off frequencies.
