Differences in models and engines

Is there any difference between the hatch and sedan other than the obvious? How about engines? Is it just bigger displacement? The reason im asking is, im waiting to save up enough money to trade in my sedan 3 2.0L to a hatch 3 with 2.3L. I want to know if I can use a 2.3 CAI on a 2.0. Is handling any different?Weight?

Would you really do all that for 8 more stock HP and a few other options and worse gas mileage? You can still get the sedan with the 2.3, unless its just because you want the hatch, but if you just want the hatch and performance the MS3 would be your answer...

well its not just for the 8 horses. its for the 15 hp gain, manual tranny, power windows, power door locks, "no replacement for displacement", my warranty is about to expire(already 30K miles in less than 2 years), moonroof, fog lights(im hoping to get the round ones), and stock style rims. I got the basic of all basic styles with a damn pzev engine.

yeah you can get the sedan with the 2.3l as jeg said... so its up to you which you want.

I would assume the weight is balanced a bit different on the hatch, but they should handle very similar.

The difference is torque: 135 for the 2.0, 150 for the 2.3. That's something you will really feel driving around town. Peak horspower isn't that important in daily driving.

Turbo the 2.0L, Much Faster. Better Pay off for your time and money.

i dont plan on modding it, i want the goodies in it(PDL/PW/moon roof/more torque). Im going to be gettin another 240sx, and modding that. The new cars have this learning curve, too much money to get around it and i dont like ETB. Thanks for the info everyone!

One more question, does any model other than the MS3 get LSD(limited slip diff)?mmm...drugs

You are talking about Modifications in the Thousands Of Dollars that will not greatly improve your performance.

Simply put, If you actually do these things to your car, you might as well just send me the money.

A Turbo for your motor will cost about the same and instead of 8 Hp, you will add 100...
