okay...its NOT located where your avatar is.....

go to the "USER CP" or control panel, then select the "EDIT PROFILE" button.....look down the page a little ways....right below where you would have put in your birthday there is a place to put "CUSTOM USER TEXT"....THAT is the CUSTOM text under your user name. go and check it out.

Apologies BondoBob, but even the moderators don't know that information...only the board admins can see default stats for how many posts are necessary.

In the big scheme of things, it's really not that big of a deal...but I'll see if I can read some info on the settings for these kinds of boards for the information.

I do not remembe at what point I was able to change mine....it was a lot more than what I remeber evidently....maybe one of the admins will stumble arcoss this thread and answer the magic question. if not....someone could always write one of them.

Yep.,..its the next step after senior....not sure when that is though....but I do remember something now...I wasn't able to change my text till after I came an experienced member....however...that wouldn't explain how SpeedGirl changed hers....hmmmm It's one of those things that makes you go HMMMMMMMMMMMM . :{D
