My first post here, I have a 2022 CX-9, for now I had a simple dash cam that was doing that job for me, and it draws power from the passenger side Cigratte Lighter Adaptor(CLA).
Now I am thinking to upgrade with Front + Rear dash cam set up and the cameras I have selected comes with Parking monitoring, would like to have it as an option and this is where my Q is.
The front CLA has power in ACC mode only, the rear one in trunk has power all the time, I think its possible to change this through fuse box, since my wiring will start again from the front CLA on passenger side so I want it to be always on,
Has somebody done this? or know how can be done? I think its just a fuse has to go in different slot and I should have power always in the front..
I know that there is other option to hardwire the cameras but I dont want to touch the car's wiring as I am not that confident doing that and I plan to do it on my own.
