hi, i has serching for this information but i didn't found it.... i'm not good for search... which is the torque specs for the studs of the cylinder head???

step one : 16 ft lbs
step two : tighten each bolt 90 degrees
step 3: repeat step 3

found this on auto repair refference center
not sure how accurate it is, someone else can chime in?

in the step two, still using the torquimeter with 16 ft lbs???
and if step 3 it's the same that step 2 you tight 180 degrees in total?

you tighten all bolts to 16 ft/lbs, then turn each bolt 90 degrees and lastly turn each bolt another 90 degrees. per alldata

i get it, but the 90 degrees tight, have to be done with the 16 ft lbs?? or with a regular wrench?

isn't it repeat step 2?

lol yes sorry step 3 is repeat step 2

soooo your entire torque procedure would be

following the torque sequence bring them to 16 ft lbs then using a angle torque gauge(or a very good eye) turn each bolt a additional 90 degrees following the torque sequence, then repeat

it wouldnt be possible with the 16ft lbs. the bar would just keep breaking

the wrench will still click or break but your not going by foot lbs now, your looking for the degrees

when the wrench brakes you are still able to turn the bolt, its just over the setting the bar is at
