CX7 Losing Power

2008 Mazda CX7 - Symptoms :
1. Engine Fans Remain on 10 ti 15 mins all the time.

2. The fans come on on full speed while the vehicle is moving at any rate with or without the AC on.

3. While the engine in running the temp gauge is midway between H and C. Whne the engine is turned off, the gauge goes straight to H.

4. Vehicle looses power and has problems shifting gearts 45 mins into the drive.

Sent to the dealer twice and they claim that the fan comming on is normal. But they keep missing the point that this is just a symptom of a heating issue... Any assistance will be appreciated.

loseing power

Do a search for Cooling Fans, and go to the one-Cooling Fans - When should they operate?
Go to the end post. It may have the solution to your issue with temp gauge going to high.
Not sure on the loss of power or shifting issue.

I had this same problem. My thermostat was stuck open and needed to be replaced. All was well after that.

have you checked coolant level when cold. Maybe it is low in the radiator. Second, thermostat is $5 and crap. They fail. Bet it is stuck.
