CX-60 Condensation build up issue…Anyone else?

Hello all,
I’ve had the CX-60 for about 4 months now and I wondered if anyone has had the same issue as me. I have noticed an excessive amount of condensation build up on the inside of the windscreen of a morning, to the point where when I turn the A/C on it spits the water droplets all over the dash. Has anyone else had this issue so far? Thanks

Ryan

Condensation water has probably collected in the evaporator of the air conditioning.
Make sure to turn off the air conditioning (with the A/C button, not the air flow) for the last 5 to 10 minutes of your trip to dry the evaporator.

The A/C shouldn't spit water droplets all over the dash, at least not from what I've ever seen.
It sounds like something is wrong and I would take the car to the dealer.

I bought mine 1st October and I now have same issue with condensation on inside of windscreen, did u get a fix for this

I've seen similar reports from some users on my country's forum, but this affects only some cars - mine has never had this issue, even during a very rainy period last autumn.

Hi @Gajdzin, did you see any fix for the issue. It’s becoming a real pain. I will contact dealer tomorrow…

Hi, I’ve just taken delivery of a CX-60 that seems to have this issue. Only has 200 miles on the clock and I seem to have the front demister on more than off.

Hi,

I also had same issue, Infact one of many issues I owned the car from new for 16 months. After 16 visits to the dealer I had enough and traded it.

Suspension up dates x2
New infotainment screen failed 2nd day ownership
Software updates many,
Sunroof creaks
Creaks and fidgets rear seat due to lack of anchor between split seat unfixable.
Drivers door cap creaks and fidgets not fixed after many visits.
Auto headlights like a disc
Condensation form on windscreen ( had it but never reported due to trade in)

Very disappointing car and not cheap. I now have an Hyundai Santa Fe brand new and brilliant no issues at all.

I hope yours is better than mine was seen my ownership issues, and Mazda UK are aware of these issues.

The condensation problem seemed worse over the recent winter than previous years. Wife bought me a Pingi car dehumidifier. Its a small cloth bag of pellets that absorb water. I keep it where the wireless charger is (which is next to useless anyway). When the marker changes from blue to pink (about 4 weeks), you put it in the microwave to recuperate it. Seems to help.
