CX-50 CarPlay navigation stops car radio from playing…Help!

I like to play the fm station from my car radio. If I have car play activated it cuts the radio out. I have found the following fix but again the radio station cuts out immediately. The FIX suggested on google: 1. Activated Car Play 2. Hold down the home button 3. You are now in the mazda infotainment system 4. Select your radio station (music starts to play) 5. Hold the home button to go to car play ( music plays for a few seconds and then quits). WHY? How to fix?
