2013~2016 CX-5 Vibration Issue…

Replaced it! Compared everything and they matched splines but now I head like a knocking sound like mating pieces have a little play. From a stop to a go or from park to D you’ll hear it sometimes…

I didn’t check the fluid levels but it didn’tsoew out fluid at all.
Could you have gotten a defective reman axle. Don't know what you purchased but this is not a place to go cheapest price . And aftermarket reman axles are a crapshoot, so higher prices don't always correlate to higher quality. Did you install a new nut and torque to specified torque. Don't want to overtorque and cause wheel bearing failure.

I didn’t go cheapest. But I did buy it at autozone. The local Mazda dealership didn’t have any in stock and would take a couple of weeks to come in and it was $800 for one too… so I called around at autozone, oreily, and Napa and ended up getting autozone a one. When I slid the spline in, didn’t have any feel of play when I rotated it.
