CX-5 Projector headlight issue

Hello All,
I am new to this forum, this is my first posting.
I need help please, I think i have stuffed up my LEFT side headlight projector?
Please see attached pictures, LEFT side light pattern looks weird, a big dark 'mushroom' like shadow (boom04) compare to RIGHT side showing normal even light pattern.
What happened was, I tried to swap over the OEM HID bulb starting from the LEFT side.
Instead of removing the bulb plastic cover, I twisted release the (projector mechanism/motor connector?).
Realized I made a mistake, I just simply re-locked it back.
After finished swapping for both bulbs, now I have this funny light pattern on the LEFT.
Wonder what has gone wrong? how to fix this?

Looks like a bulb seating issue to me. Make sure the bulb is properly seated even though you re-locked it back.
