Did you find any with a 1” deep slot or are you resting on the pinch weld?I ordered a couple of different rubber adapters with the idea that I would modify them but I sent them back and got aluminum.

Look on page 3 of this thread.Did you find any with a 1” deep slot or are you resting on the pinch weld?
I bought the Black Widow ones also, I haven’t used it yet. When shopping, i watched a review where they wet a tshirt, layed it down and set the ramp on top of the wet shirt. It’s a good review of different brands. Still, these things scare the hell out of me. I’m going to pick up a daytona long reach floor jack anyway, to do tire rotation with my jack stands. Heres a link to the reviewI've got some of those plastic rhino ramps and the rubber grips on the bottom don't really hold them in place very well. I should figure out some way to stabilize them.
The mats is a really good idea. ThanksI use old vehicle rubber floor mats with grippy fingers for the carpet to stay in place… under my Rhino ramps. They never move on garage concrete.
I use second gear start on mine to creep up onto my ramps
Nothing is needed but to simply drive up normally in first gear. They never slide on me.Hey, question. On your cx5t, do you use off road mode to use the ramps, any tips on getting the cx5 on the ramp without a slide or driving over the end? What’s the technique?
For the AWD car it is the differential. There's a flat section protruding from the bottom:On the cx5 rear, mazda lists the rear center jack point as the rear differential housing? Man, is that right? At least on the miata there’s a crossmember.
The jack point hangs directly below the rear differential housing, just as it does on the MX.On the cx5 rear, mazda lists the rear center jack point as the rear differential housing? Man, is that right? At least on the miata there’s a crossmember.
Yeah, not exactly the same but in the exact same location. It's pretty clear where to place the jack. It's different on the MX-5; there, it's not the differential housing itself but a crossmember, similar to the front.
It's more like the FWD CX-5. it's been a while since I looked at one though.
