CV joint/drive shaft

Just a heads up that my car has been diagnosed with a bad right half/shaft @ 7500 miles and will be going in for warranty repairs this week. It's an 09 6 i gt w.manual. No modifications from stock and no non-dealer repairs/alignments etc so not sure what's the cause. Right one seems ok so far. Heard clicking when windows open and at low speed through drive through and then my wife heard it when I pulled in the driveway and she was standing there. Hope no one else runs into this but felt it would be wise to let you know.

Working at a rental car company for 9 years I have seen a lot of brand new cars come off the truck with parts not working correctly. New does not mean there is nothing wrong with it or that its not going to go bad. There could have been a flaw it in to start with and got worse over that time period. But its a good heads up for everyone to be aware of.
