custom trunk install!!

well this week i will be redoing my entire trunk/stereo setup!! figured i would post pics of my progress!!!!
day 1
new floor built 3" higher than the stock trunk plus entire trunk dynamated!! (no pics of that though!)
tomorrow i will sand between the boards and finish installing the outside two plus measure and cut where the amp/brain to my dvd and power cap are going!! build the sunken boxes for them and route out the floor to fit plexi
i'll post pics day by day for anybody who is interested!!

Just as a warning, do not entirely squre off the trunk! I made that mistake and no one could figure out what the hell was going on. It was really weird, the subs sound terrible in the car but sounded awsome out of the car.

What is going below the floor? whats it mounting too?

i dont know...... its all in my head and i dont feel like scanning my designs.... once it is done you will understand 1sty!

well today progress is done and it might not look like much but i redid all the supports and put in a bottom floor to hold the electronics. tomorrow i will carpet the bottom board and install my wiring and supports permantly!

How are you bolting down the box? Is it easy to lift up to access the spare?

a week after i got my car back i got a flat on my home from work and was very gratefull i had my spare -- but then again i have a p5 (flash)

thats going to look nice. are you going to put plexiglass over the electronics? you should put neons in there too=).

ya plexi ontop with blue neons plus a backboard , the floor should be done and wired in a few hrs if everything goes right

Nice and clean, so that's 3" tall total? including the height of the mdf?
