Hey guys, ever notice when bad things happen then tend to happen in a close time period? i do. anyway im driving along by a school at 7:20am ish and im goin along at 35-40mph (speed limit on that street) and a car 2 in front of me stops short and pulls over to the side quickly (prob a teacher or parent) and the car in front of me came to a dead stop very quickly and i slammed on my breaks and i had a total wheel lockup on wet pavement. BAM! i hit him decently hard, i pull over and get out of my car and see my grille is kinda in my engine and that being about it besides a kinda messed up license plate. On his car i saw some paint and that being about it, Then i looked around deeper and saw the top 2 bolts of my license plate pierced his bumper and also my grille supports were snapped, and a 2 inch crack bumper where my grille sits. I still think it isnt bad for what happened. Im still not sure if my hood is slightly bend or is mis-aligned or maybe the hood release is bent and it isnt closing all way. I hope its the hood release an i can slam it back into place. SIBalla is comming here in a few hours to help me figure it all out, not doin much now cause i have alot of neck pain. However im now considering the more durable Corksport MS style front end, custom wire mesh grille and Brembo rotors with hi performance pads. Im alright, the cars banged up, ill give an update tomorrow. Me and the person are settling personally due to we both have high deductables, plus he drives a 1992 Sentra, so he may not even get it fixed. I hope he dosnt and then i can use the money i just earned and replace that front bumper.
