Crack in the front window.

It's about 8-10 inches long.
The stupid rain in So cal put all this dirt on the streets.. Either a pebble flew up and hit the window or its some mazda window cracking problem that I read about in another post.


either way this sucks.

If there is a stone chip that caused the crack (look at either end of the crack for one), you're outta luck.
But if it is a stress crack the dealer should replace the windshield.

I had the same problem. Took it to the dealer and the fixed under warranty. It was a stress crack from the to above the steering wheel. It started at the top edge. How many miles on your car? I had 60 miles on the car when it started.

well... the crack starts from the very mid-bottom of the window and it goes up about 8 inches.. and i doubt its from stress, it happened when it was heavily raining, and the water put all this dirt and rocks on the street.... so yeah someone's car lifted up a pebble and launched it at me
