correct tire pressure??

I checked mY tires pressure today and in front i had 38psi and 37.5 psi on the back I gues that guys that mounted my tires didnt give s*** about correct pressure...car felt crazy especially when changing lanes.....
so my question is what is best tire pressure for 235/40 tire that is on 18x8 rim??
I lowered front to 35 and rear to 33 ...1psi highger than specs

isnt that a bit to high?? i can tell you that my tires wear ******* quick with pressure that i had before....

"Officially", it's 32 rear, 34 front, checked cold.

i run 34 front and 32 rear. with my volks i ran 36 front and 34 rear. it was pretty smooth.

but i ahve 235/40 and 18x8 rims so i cant run stock spec i run 35-36 all around and is perfect for me

I keep my tires at 34psi (225/40) it feels good to me for DD

The door placard says 34/32. Good enough for me. On trips I raise it about two psi

Put on my RX-8s the other day with 225/45/18s. I put 36 all around, but they feel a tad weird to me. I'll probably lower them closer to stock and see how it goes.
