Here's my personal review of the rear brace bar, available here

UNBOXING:
-My first impressions were how light the box was. At roughly 4 lbs total, this brace wont add excess weight to the car. Package was clean and provided everything needed to install it on the 6/MS6. Instructions provided were easy to follow and made the whole install simple and painless.

INSTALL:
-Overall, this is a quick and easy install. For the MS6, it requires dropping the rear seats, which can be the toughest part of the whole procedure. In my particular car, I have the fold down seat pulls, so this was effortless. Once down, remove the two 14mm bolts in the lower corners of the frame, add the brace, then use the new supplied bolts and youre all set. I torque the bolts down to 70 ft-lbs and seemed to have no issues. Note: A ratchet and 14mm 6 point socket would be recommended if available.
Once complete, fold seats back up, reinstall any trunk lining (if necessary) and youre all set!

IMPRESSIONS:
-This brace is a perfect addition to anyone who does occasional track/spirited driving. In my particular application, the brace was added to a set of H&R lowering springs and the Whiteline adjustable rear sway bar. As before, I drove the vehicle before and after on an identical route and compared the results from before.
As I made the loop of the route, I felt that the car had more tendency to rotate, which is a welcome addition to the natural understeer tendencies that the MS6 typically exhibits. The car wont oversteer easily, but it can bring the rear around if the TCS/DSC is disabled. Nothing that is too hard to control, especially if youre used to a RWD vehicle.
As a whole, the $99 is a great price for a solid piece. Its a clean, simple looking brace with a solid purpose that appeals to the weekend racer, or the driver looking to get improved handling response out of the car.

nice write up scuba steve!!!

hey, every lil bit counts. i had a but load of RRM chassis braces in my last car and it made a huge difference.

i also noticed that after i had all the braces, i would jack the car up behind the driver side wheel and the whole dam car would lift up. before the chassis would just twist.

but the ms6 is already pretty stiff. does corksport make a front bar too? eh, nevermind i'll just go check.

Yup! http://www.corksport.com/corksport-front-strut-bar-for-mazdaspeed-6.html

they do! i have it and me and my mountain town love it! after the intercooler and exhaust i plan on stopping power mods and going full blown braces! this is number one on my list.

Thanks. One thing after I did this, the car is super stiff. I was swapping wheels and tires to my Parada's today and after jacking the car up in the front, the rear on the same side lifted up.

I think my next purchase will be a GT-Spec lower front tie brace, and a front strut brace. The car is nearly complete.

I'll also add that CS was a great company to deal with. Derrick and Kelly have been great to help get this product to me quickly, so I will be returning to buy some other goods.

Nice bar..

I was actaully going to get the CS rear strut bar, but saw something on ebay so decided to try them out. I got "Thespeedline" rear strut bar as well as the lower front tie bar and the rear under lower tie bar from them and since they give me a discount for getting them all, I just went for it

all for around $200 shipped...

I think they are replicas of the autexe one as they look similar.. The bars are not heavy and the finish is not bad...

I had the rear brace on before the other two and with just that can feel the difference.. same as what tunersteve feels... I also have the eibach springs on..

then I install the other 2 bars, and I felt less body roll.. can definatly feel that the chassis is stiffer... it felt quit nice...

for that price for 3 bars I think it was worth..

I know some people delt with them before and said they had bad services etc.. I had no issues with them, they responded fast with and I received the bars like 4 days after I paid..

overall very satisfied with my purchase.
