Corbeau Seat Questions

I might be looking to buy a Corbeau seat in the near future. I'm looking at the A4 (reclinable), the Forza (fixed-back), or the Clubman (fixed-back) in red cloth. I'm trying not to spend more than $400 for one seat and brackets/sliders if that is possible.

Questions:
Where is the best place to buy them? This is the only place I've found that sells everything (seat and proper sliders/brackets) at decent prices: SoloPerformance.com

Are there any decent alternatives to Corbeau that are the same style and price (if not cheaper)?

How reclined are most fixed-back seats? I don't like to be pushed too far forward but I also don't like to feel like I'm in a LazyBoy. We don't really have a lot of shops here in town that cater to tuners so I've never had the opportunity of sitting in one.

Also, I'm about 5'11'', ~200 lbs, 36" waist. Would a regular seat fit me well or should I go with a wide?

Any help, suggestions, and/or information anyone can provide would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

A4s are good. I would just try to find a local dealer who sells them. I'm about 5'4 135lbs and these are perfect for me. Hard to say about your measurements, but maybe go wide.

I've had Corbeau seats in my Maxima for about 5 years now, got sponsored by them back in the day. I have the A4's, and if you have a 36" waist, the A4's won't work all that well. A friend of mine is about your size, 5'10" tall with a 36" waist and he thinks my seats are the most uncomfortable things in the world I'm 5' 10", 185 with a 32" waist and it's a tight fit. I think they state that the Maxima waist is a 32" or 34", I forget. I thought they had a different model than the A4 that's reclinable, it's supposedly wider. I didn't get that version because it's not as "sleek" looking as the A4.

One issue I had with the seats, the material they use to cover it is not that durable. After about a year, I ended up having to get the seats reupholstered since I was wearing through the side bolster from getting into and out of the car. And the plastic passthroughs for harnesses tend to come loose, I had to epoxy them back in. If you carry people in your back seat a lot, the fabric on the seat back tends to stretch and will look saggy after a while from knees and so one pushing into it. Another reason I had mine reupholstered.

Other than that, they are great seats, but a little tight around the shoulders for me. If you daily drive your car, I'd stay away from fixed back. I thought about it, but then I drove some friends cars with fixed back seats and it's not something you can do every day. Most of them ended up swapping to reclinable seats.

Corbeau is about the cheapest decent seats I know of. The cheaper seats usually aren't that durable, I've seen some of the eBay seats in person and they're not impressive. Maybe Tenzo R? I know some people happy with them.
