condensation on the inside of my windshield?

:
GLA45
does that mean it isn't properly sealed? i had my windshield replaced under warranty shortly after buying the car because it cracked, then that didn't seal and i could literally push the windshield up so they redid it over the summer. now with the cold weather i get frost on the inside of my windshield sometimes and i have to wait for my heater to warm up so it gets rid of it and i can drive. is it just the temperature difference or does it mean the windshield isn't sealed right again?

yep, i was thinking of using my scraper today when i went out to get lunch and didn't want to wait for my car to heat up. it's a thin layer, but definitely ice

Does your a/c come on when in the defrost mode?

i have no idea, i don't notice any light coming on but i can't say that i've really paid attention. i also think my ac isn't as cold as it should be, but i asked the dicks at morande mazda to check it for me while they were doing othet stuff and they were like "oh, well it's hot out, that's why it's not cold." and "well the ac kinda either works or doesn't work, there isn't really an in between. if it's leaking it just won't work." yea, a leak is the only thing that could go wrong with the ac. dicks...

It's probably not sealed right...I live in winter-hell Connecticut too, and even with lots of people foggin' up my car all the time, I never get that. I have never had my windshield replaced. OH AND BTW...NO MORE MORANDE MAZDA for you sir. I work at Tony March Mazda in Hartford, and can honestly say that our service department has excellent techs that will do any warranty work no problem, unless the customer is unreasonable or an asshole. They always do great work on my car, and did so before I worked there as well (which is one of the reasons I wanted to work there!!). We get so many angry morande customers that we end up fostering, because they don't want to ever go back there. Our service CSI scores have been the highest in the state for a while too. PM me if you plan on stopping by ever and I can walk down to service with you, introduce you to the service consultant and master tech as my friend.....and your service will be all the super happy fun way much better. Whenever I am really bored I always go hang out with the mazda techs...they rule. Later man, hope to see you at my dealership soon!

The windsheild is probably messed up....but make sure you have the heat switch to "fresh air" and not recirculating....if you have it on recirc there is too much humidity in your car and you'll end up with frost or fog on the inside of windows.

with defog on it makes it go to fresh air, so that's what's usually on, i usually just let it be that

commie: i need my front bushings replaced since they're the original crunchers, my windshield done, and my rotors are warped (and have been since the beginning of summer when they were under warranty but i didn't get them done now so they're out of warranty, i might just do those myself though). i was going to call morande and make an appointment for sometime next week or the week after, i'll set up an appointment at your place though and let you know when it is.

i had this problem on a car i owned where my dad and i had replaced the windshield. i'm going with the "not sealed worth s***" theory as well

Now, why can't I have a guy like this working at a local Mazda deaelr near me :'( I haven't had to use them other than the flash and I think the rear klunk, but I am scared after reading all of the horror stories that I could get (upbum)

I can hear it now the Dealer guy goes "were racing? yea, you were racing; just admit it!!!" (poke) "Uh, come on admit it and we'll go lightly on you" and I'll be like "no I wasn't it racing. I have never had a mod on my car" (angel) and they will end up going (upyours)

what else is in your car. I surf a lot and sometimes I leave my wet suit in the car. On really cold mornings I will get the same thing because of the mmoisture in the car. If you have any moisture in the car it will collect on the windows due to the fact that the windows are colder then the frame... So if you track in water when it rains or snow or anything like that you could see that.. But also your not sealed winshield will do the same cause it lets moisture in. Help this helps..

Man, I deal with high humidity all the time, and it's been cold as s*** lately, and I don't have that problem on any of my three cars. Your windshield is not sealed right.

CommieSpeed, did you get the PM I sent you about paint?
Yup, dude just read it! I can get you spicy paint...but do you not have a Mazda dealer around you? It should be really cheap, I know the regular bottle of touch up paint is like 5 bucks! Where is the closest Mazda dealer to you? Is it too far away to warrant the trip for paint? Let me know, and if you need me to, I would be glad to help you! (rockon)

I'm going to need a more than those little bottles. He backed into another car one day in his driveway. (hand) It knocked a descent size patch of paint off of the rear bumper. (cryhard) I also have a few scratches that need to be taken care of as well.

I know that the orange paint is a special blend and was on only a few cars. So I would figure I would have to go through Mazda to buy the paint, but I want to know what is the best way to do it and all of the information like paint code, price etc...

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated (bow) (cool)
