Concerned speedizen... Smells like fireworks!

Idk whats going on, but every time i get out of my car, it smells like the after effect of lighting off fireworks. I know it sounds crazy, but i also noticed a little bit of white smoke coming out of the tail pipe. Now, im hoping thats its either a.) The oil in my engine bay burning off due to my dipstick popping out during a launch or b.) my vent hose due to it being kinked before entering the intake tube. Now, i leave it to you to help out a brother from another mother. Please! Thanks.

How many miles on the car. Sounds like the CAT is just breaking in, makes burnt sulpher smells.

donno about the smell but you need to get the kink out of that breather hose coming off the intake. If your dipstick popped out under boost it means your pcv valve has gone bad or got stuck and so you are pressurizing the crankcase under boost. No good. Thats what is causing your smell I bet. Get a new pcv valve (warranty) and maybe while you do that put on a baffled catch can and a second pcv valve inline with it all (search other threads). An older member, Whoosh, who literally pioneered alot of stuff for this platform and made the largest hp #'s on a stock block/internals had problems like that and actually had a spring that kept the dipstick held down into place.

as much as i love the smell of fireworks, i would hate for my car to smell like that lol
