Cold Air or Short Ram? That is the question..

So what u guys think? AEM Cold air intake or short ram for my Mazda3s? Or do u think I should wait for the V2?

I'd perferr the cai over the short beacuse of the heat in the engine compartment.
Does anyone know if the Injen can be used as both? I thought I read that somewhere.

I went to home depot and mabe me a heat shield to stop 80%-82%of the heat fron the radiator when fans kick in frmm totally affecting the filter...and yes injen can be both...but not shure what the sympoms are..cause some 2.3 and most 3.0 get cels f5om injen. whit a lil bit to see if the intake doesn't do that on tests cause it tool like 100 miles for it to throw a code...
