OT but are you on flickr, I have a pic just like the one on your avy and there was a guy on flickr that had one like it too.

Here's mine. (too much shake, it didn't come out the best/clearest it could have been.)

Ah, cool, nice pics man. I've been kind of lazy to upload most of mine.

How was installing the LED in the map lights?

easy. like 2 seconds easy. tug out the plastic housing, replace the bulbs, put it back in. voila. same with the center dome light.

the more difficult interior led replacement was the glovebox, because you have to take out the entire glove box assembly. i used this guy's write up: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123698529.

+1 I love my blue interior as well. It's just a nice touch. Killer pics you took of yours. Very nice work!!

I've got the setup you asked about, I never took pictures during the install when the battery box and other things were out of the way so these pictures don't show much. I got the black inlet so it's really hard to see, in terms of voiding the warranty I think it would come down to the dealer you are working with and if they actually see the inlet. Anyways, hope the pictures help, at least they show how hard it is to see! I'm happy with the inlet but don't think its much louder than the already loud CAI.

sweet. thanks for that.

i went ahead and requested to change my order from blue to black, just to lessen the chances of the dealer going "ooh! warranty void!"

maybe i'll even tape the "cobb" over.

Yeah thats not a bad idea to really hide it, you might even be able to peel or scrape off the letters.

Why don't you just put the OEM parts in for any dealer visits? Takes 30 to 40 mins max.
