Clarification on OEM 16" Rim offset for an 01 RX7

Okay I am looking at getting some

FD rims from 3rd gen RX7 (93-02)

for my 06 Mazd3 GS...both have the same 5X114 bolt pattern

I am confused though on the offset for these rims,

from my research I find that these rims are 16X8

which is common from all posts i find but what I cannot figure out is what is the offset for the stock OEM 16" rim.....

some say its +35mm and others say +42 and another say +50mm

so could anyone tell me what is the offset

for the stock OEM 16" Rim from a 93-02 RX7

thank you for your help

+50 mm.
When looking, be careful to buy the reinforced verison of the wheel. Early 92 models tended to develope cracks and the wheels were re-designed mid-year with thicker walls. Both versions looked exactly the same and the latter were only minimally heavier. The only visiable difference was when looking at the back, the reinforced ones have a "bell" shaped pattern in the casting. The earlier weaker ones aren't real common anymore, but occasionally you'll see them.
I'm at work now, but have pictures at home showing the differences better, I'll try to post them up later.

ALL FD rims including ones from Japan are +50 offset.

I think even the 8.5 x 17s were +50 offset... Its been awhile so I don't remember, but I had two sets of the 99 wheels and It was 50 or 55?
