CF Hoods warping?

First of all, I did a search and didn't come up with anything.

I'm looking at getting a CF hood for the P5(accident, long story). But I was advised that CF hoods warp over time, sometimes as soon as 6 months. Any one heard of this or have any experience with this? Makes me hesitant about getting one. I don't wanna drop serious $ just to have to replace it 6 months to a year later.

depends on the hood and how well it is made. i've seen some warp. when I had a CF hood on my integra it would be very pliable when in hot temperatures...i used hood pins just in case so nothing would suck worst than a hood coming up.

You should call me and get a fiberimages one. You won't have that problem. We've been running these hoods for over a year without any problems. Get a good quality hood not the Taiwan stuff you see out there.
