CDM Extended Arm Rest

This is an OEM CDM extended arm rest for a Protege or Protege 5. I bought this used on the forums some time ago and just pulled it from my car. The previous owner reupholstered the arm rest portion to better match the MS3 seats he had in his car. It looked fine with my MSP seats so I never changed it. I'm not sure if this is supposed to have a latch or not, but this one does not.

Looking to get $125 shipped in the CONUS.

Would the oem lid fit on this? Car is at home so I can't look right now but I do have some leftover black vinyl I just redid my armrests in my truck with soooooooooooooooooo, I want, PM sent...........will go great with my recently acquired CDM grill, lol

I believe this replaces the oem lid completely. Lift the lid and remove the 2 screws that hold it to the back of the center console. New armrest installs back in the same spot

Yes, understood. My question was about my original lid fitting on top of the armrest since it would match rest of interior vs. me recovering the MS3 matching lid on it now.

I'm not sure if it will fit in place. I think the new one may be taller, but I haven't stacked them up next to each other to check.

I'm OK with oem lid being shorter as long as length is same OR recovering the one that does fit. Either way - SCORE

the original latch fits from memory but the original low lid does not replace the CDM top section, the dimensions are similar for re-covering though as in a template taken from the oem CDM vinyl cover was suitable for doing covers for my CDM lid and a non-CDM lid with rubber cover removed.
