I'm planing to buy the new 9815 from Alpine but I just read it doesn't have Anti-shock Memory this means that if my car goes up and donm because a rought road my cd will skip?

No, I sold 50 Alpines last year not one came back for skipping and the only unit that had memeory according to that website is the 7998.

Alpine doesn't even list the memeory as a feature inther stats.
But yes if you go up and down on a big ass pothole, it will skip, but it will take alot. The only time Mine alpine ever skips is when the car wheel hops like crazy.
