Carbon Fibre hood cloudy??

I have a carbon fibre hood on my car, when i polish it up it looks good, but the shine quickly goes away and gets almost a cloudy, white film on it. It'd be nice if i didn't have to power polish it every week or so and still have it look decent. It looks especially odd because of the 3M rockguard which makes it two tone, not a fan of it. Suggestions??

You need to re-clear your hood.

How would i go about doing that? and what products should I use?

A body shop would be your best bet. You are going to have to use a real fine sand paper to get the oxidation off the clear then reclear the hood with automotive clear.

You could also lightly sand with super fine sand paper and wax and seal it, but it wont last forever...
