car wont rev over 2500rpms after head gasket was done

No, actually, this is a pretty mature group here with good advice. We don't tolerate foolish or immature behaviour. We don't have to.

If you don't like it here ('too strict') then go somewhere else. I am sure there are plenty of other sites. Me? I like it here. Less crap than most and this site has been very useful to me over the (eight?) years of my P5 ownership.

My $.02 worth.

Since compression was good (and if the cam sensors check good)

Is a injector stuck open? Full throttle to start sounds like an over-rich condition to me. Could explain the white smoke of the original problem. Do you smell raw gas at the exhaust?

Amen. This whole thing started because of a grammar issue, which, yes, may seem a little childish. But if people would take 2 seconds to look over what they wrote before posting, we wouldn't have these little spats in the first place.

I get annoyed when I have to pick through people's run-on sentences to figure out what they're trying to say. It's a common courtesy issue.

But seriously, if you don't want to take the time to use proper English, this isn't the place for you.

Whatever. I can't tell you to spell correctly, or correct your grammar, but I can help others understand what you wrote. I already reported you last night. I guess the mods are kind of slow. I'll report again. Thank you

Stuck injector would make the car Rev after start. A gas smell does mean unburned fuel. Does not mean jump at buying new injectors tho. Check your work before forking over your hard earned dough. Look at all things related to lack of spark in one cylinder.

Step one: Did you look at the oil to see if it is milky or not? depending on how bad the HG was out on it, you could have washed out the lower bearings.

Step two: compression check it!! if your compression is off the deep end your timming is not right

Step three: check ignition with timing light to see if your crank position sensor is right.

step four: if the first three steps pass..... your screwed and take it to a shop or rip it apart again

^ Above he says comp is good...

'why i say injector stuck' - when 'flooring it it starts' has put the ECU in 'flooded' mode and it cuts fuel until it starts. Then it would start flow again and it would run really rich and run poorly if at all...

Pull the whole rail and turn key on (not start). The injector shooting fuel is the bad one.
