Can't get MSP to start with first key turn have to play with clutch???

Hey folks, so lately I have been having troubles with starting my MSP. What I mean is that I have to play around with the clutch a couple times for it to start. When I press on clutch normally to the floor and turn the key it does not turn on, sometimes it would, but generally I would have to press down on the clutch a few times for it to start. Oh and If I slam on the clutch to the floor it usually turn on !
Any ideas how to fix this.
I went to Autozone last week and special purchase an Clutch Switch for around $25 came in yesterday. I installed and the same problem has occurred. :/

My car does this sometimes but it isn't the clutch switch, I think it's the starter or starter solenoid. If you hold the key in the crank position for a second it will usually turn over but it always starts by the 2nd or 3rd attempt.

Yezzir your right, thats interesting, will you replace that or those soon ? I might address that issue eventually, and I will return my new clutch switch -.-

I will replace the starter if it ever fails completely lol. But since I can always jump start the car I am not too worried. Your clutch switch may be worn out so you can leave the new one in but it may not have been the cause of your problem.
