***Calling everyone who is going to spoolin's open house** PLEASE READ AND POST

Hey guys. This thread is for those going to spoolin's open house on the 27th of july. ((correct me if im wrong but i believe that it is the right date.)) We were planning on getting together to be there on Saturday.
I wanted to get a head count on the guys/gals who are going to attend from New York, North Jersey,Pennsylvania. Some of us wanted to get together and make the trip down together. It would be great to get some people together and have a protege train like the jersey meet last month. Just bigger.
We would need to know when you all were planning on leaving so that arrangements can be made for us to meet up with the fellow members from the Maryland and Virginia areas. Thanks in advance for your participation.

I'm going, but I'm about 40-50 miles north of Richmond. I would love to cruise down with everyone so just let me know a meeting spot and I'll be there. BTW, since it's on a sat. there are a lot of commuter parking lots along I-95 and I'm thinking one of them could be a meeting spot for us Virginia people to meet up with ya'll coming from up north. Keep us updated.

redrims and I are busy working on setting up meeting spots for the Maryland people to meet some Virginia ones.
Just narrowly down to places that are easy to get to from the highway, have gas, plenty of room, and food.

Not sure if we were going on Saturday but I'm strongly considering it.

MP3_PR5-Where are do you live? Is it before the rest stop that I believe is either after or before Kings Dom. If so we could also make that a meeting spot before the last 30minute trip to Richmond and gather up any people there plus regroup.

REMillers - No I live off of Rt. 610 in Stafford. It's about a 40-50 min. ride to Richmond from there. I was thinking of one commuter lot in particular that is absolutely huge and right off of the interstate... close to Potomac Mills. I don't mind backtracking a whole 10-15 min to meet up with the others coming from the north. Anyways, keep in touch with me and I'm sure we can come up with a good meeting place.

Now I remember you talking about your location before.

There is a huge commute lot right off 95 at the Prince William parkway, that or the rest area that sits right after the Mall.

Can have some of the people who live around there meet there, and just merge onto 95 when we pass. I'll call your someone will call you guys and let you know when we are coming up on it. That way we don't have to navigate a huge bunch of cars into the rest area.

Yeah, the one commuter lot off of Prince William Parkway is the one I was talking about. It might be only me from south of woodbridge though so I might have to figure my own thing out. Guess we'll see.

BTW, do you by any chance play frisbee golf?? Just curious because me and a couple friends are probably going to play at Burke this afternoon around 4:30 or so. I know you come by that way after work, so if you got the time stop by and play or hell just stop by so I can meet you! Just thought I'd run it by you in case you were interested.

I played a few times back in High school but never really got into it. But I will probably stop by since it is on the way home.

Doesn't Burke charge a few if you aren't part of Fairfax County? If do you remember what it was, just so I know to have money on me.

Yeah, burke charges a fee "sometimes" and I use that term loosely. Sometimes we do have to pay, but most of the time since it's after 4 we can just drive in. But, it's 4 or 6 dollars to get in for non residence. We should get there around 4:30 or so, you'll see my MP3. It would be great to meet you!

Im definitly comming, My girl and I will be going. I was thinking of leaving fri night. I might even stay till monday if hes near the beach, i have to check out the location first, I might make a long weekend out of it. If we leave fri or sat it doesnt matter to me. I got off work all weekend!!!

this will be the first real road trip for the p5 running the new turbo setup
it should be a great time.
yeah me to i want to stay the weekend. at least my girl can have someone to talk to . she thought she would be the only one there out of the group like the jersey meet. only a couple came. anyway it's gonna be great once we get some info on who else is coming
