Bump stop for Koni FSD/ Eibach Pro 05 MZ3

Howdy,

I am finally replacing my shocks and springs and want to know how far down people have cut their bump stops. Also, have people cut their boots down to fit better or leave them the same length.

I've replaced the suspension 2 times on my 08 MS3 (and once on a friend's MZ3 with OE replacement), but the first time was BC coilovers and the 2nd time was with Koni Yellows & stock springs...so I haven't had to deal with this setup yet.

My Eibach springs came with shorter rear bumpstops. I believe a few manufacturers sell them and they will look better than hand-cut stops, IMO. Have you considered buying them? Sometimes the spring manufacturer recommends leaving or replacing the bumpstops. I'd check with them, first.
