Does anybody here have any problems with their stock rims ,I have 2002 P5 with stock rims and I noticed some small paint bubbles as if rust might be popping through one day ,I have only 34000 kms - the winter months.Is this a warranty issue or am I just smoking too much crack ???

I just noticed the same thing on my 2002 P5 that's about 1 1/2 years old (11K mi). I was going to call the dealer but I haven't got around to it yet. Also around the bubbles the paint looks a little discolored, maybe brownish -- I can guess what that means...

If I ever call the dealer I'll let you know what I find out.

I seem to have that problem too. Started at about 3000 miles.

When I go for my oil change in a month I will ask ,but if you guys get around to it first let me know.

Aluminum won't rust... it'll corrode. I know that's just being picky, but still.

Winter beats the s*** out of any wheel. Probably a good idea to get something dedicated to winter driving, and not worry about it (wheels / tires that is.)

These rims have never seen snow ,that is the mileage (-) what I do with my winter rims.I know I am being picky ,but a warranty is a warranty.
