Hello all,
Ive decided to replace my one or both of the BSM modules on my 2014 GT AWD CX-5. I am wondering if I should replace them in pairs or just the troubled side (right)? I was considered using used parts, the original part numbers are KD31-67Y30-A and KD31-68Y40-A. Should I go with the same part, or can a newer part number from say a 15 or 16 be compatible if Id replace both? I dont want to risk having the same issues as I do now (constant false alerts) Id appreciate any insight into this as Im not sure. To my understanding they just plug and play. I am going to have my local independent mechanic install the part(s) once I decide which direction to take and order them.
