Broken Speedometer

Hi, my bro in law has a mp3 too. Sucks that his car is now down. He had to replace the tranny but afterward the speedometer didn't work anymore.

Any suggestion what went wrong will be appreciated.

try checking the Black 2 wire plug on the tranny that is the speedo sensor. Make sure it is plugged in.

Well it turns out, the tranny was bad. Did another tranny installed yesterday and that tranny was also bad. You can't put it in reverse or drive. Thats two bad tranny in a row from the junkyard. (omg)

No, both those trannies are manual. First tranny was something wrong with the speed sensor. Second tranny was not able to shift into gears. So now my bro in law is getting it taken to some shop for a new tranny installed.
