So, I'm looking at having to replace the brake booster on our 2012 CX-9. :(

Is there any possibility of removing the booster module without disconnecting the brake lines are the ABS pump? Or, should I just bite the bullet and pay a shop to perform the work?

Thanks. Warranty extension is for 7 years or 90,000 miles, whichever comes first.

2012 was 9 years ago, so that won't work.
Our CX-9 has 175,000 miles, so that won't work either.

I bit the bullet and made an appointment at the dealer to get the booster replaced. $500 all in. Seemed like a good deal to me, since I won't have to deal with bleeding the system after replacement.

I'll check back in after the work is completed.
