Bored of the Internet?

I am. I used to be able to cruise around reading interesting stuff. Now I just get bored looking at cnn.com or even here sometimes. Nothing seems new and interesting. I feel as though I should turn off the comp and read a book or do my work, but I've tried that and they are both just as boring.

Anybody else feel like this?

It's like I'm constantly refreshing pages hoping that something that will excite me will appear.

Anybody else feel like this?

1- You need better books. Try science fiction, history, true crime, mystery, etc. to try a completely different genre than you usually read.

2- Get out and jog or join the company softball team for balance.

3- Find a $60 class that interests you at the local community college. Try photography/darkroom, creative writing, or practical uses of fluid dynamics.

4- If you can't get off the computer, start a hobby like collecting old maps, japanese watercolor paintings, pre-1940's toys- whatever. Then at least you'll have something to search for.

5- Stop waiting for someone else to make your life interesting. You do it.

Thats weird, I thought I was the only one. I am on the Internet for work so often that I dont even go on at home much anymore. Also when I am on, its like nothing interests me. Like I have already seen it all. Kinda sux. I do that refresh thing on yahoo news, hoping something interesting will happen in the world, sometimes it does. It's "Internet Apathy"!

I'm bored as heck at work and with the net. Weather sucks and I don't have a garage to work on my bike or my car. Really sucks.
